Does the recipient need to install anything or make an account?
No. There's no account to link and nothing to install. You enter their email address, they get a one-click confirmation email, and after that your voice messages arrive as regular email.
Why does the recipient need to confirm first?
So nobody receives voice message emails they never agreed to. The one-click confirmation is a double opt-in — after it's clicked once, every future note to that address is delivered automatically.
Can I send a voice message to my own email?

Summary or full transcript — what's the difference?
